Halfsister

Collective joining the co-curated day programme.

Half Sister is an artist-run space and art studios in Berlin, Schöneberg. The two event venues serve for exhibitions and various happenings. Visual artists Sophia Tabatadze, Ana Tabatadze, and Claudia J. Ford work in three studio spaces. Halfsister primarily organizes exhibitions and film screenings, but has also accommodated readings, stand-up performances, book launches, and pop-up markets. Pop-Up dinners have also been hosted, and food and drinks often accompany Halfsister’s vibrant events. With two of the studios being used by artists from Georgia, Halfsister has established a network of Georgian cultural professionals and uses the space to showcase Georgian art while raising awareness of the ongoing democratic struggles in Georgia
