Flowers and beasts

In the 1930s, within a prison cell somewhere in Europe, young inmate P. spends his days reading about murderers in newspapers and eagerly awaits the night. When night falls, a magical transformation occurs, setting the stage for a unique exploration of love, queerness, obsession, and unexpected sources of strength.
